Mikosz, M.A. and from the French side, Bernard Esmein from the Management of International Relations of the French National Institute for Agricultural Research INRA and Stéphane Cadorel – Veterinary Attaché for the Region of Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The aim of the visit was to establish deeper, direct cooperation between the National Research Institute of Animal Production and INRA and the discussion of the possibility of cooperation based on the realization of broad-scale multilateral, international research projects, financed from European Union funds. By presenting the range of research conducted within the framework of INRA Bernard Esmein paid attention to the existing, but poorly developed fields of cooperation between French and Polish institutions. Both sides of the meeting underlined the potential of possible activities in the field of genomics, animal genetics, microbiology or study over health and well-being of animals.

During the visit, the guests visited the laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology of Animal Reproduction and Independent Genomics Laboratory and became acquainted with the subjects of research conducted there.
