24th National Agricultural Exhibition – Jasna Góra Harvest Festival and 16th Days of European Folk Culture

Between 5 and 6 September 2015, the 24th National Agricultural Exhibition - Jasna Góra Harvest Festival and the 16th Days of European Folk Culture were held in Częstochowa. As part of the exhibition "Science in Agriculture", during which the institutes from the agricultural sector presented themselves, the National Research Institute of Animal Production also presented its offer.

This year’s exhibition of the Institute generated a lot of interest from the visitors. It was visited by farmers from the whole country, which came to the “All-Polish Pilgrimage of Farmers” to Jasna Góra. Rich publishing offer was presented which concerned conducted research and their results, the possibilities of their commercialization and dissemination.

Tadeusz Nalewajk, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Marek Cieśliński, Ph.D., the Director of the Central Agricultural Library in Warsaw honoured the Institute’s stall with their presence. This year’s National Agricultural Exhibition was attended by about sixty thousand visitors and above 400 exhibitors from all of Poland, who presented their offer at seed and apiarian fairs and the exhibitions of: machines and agricultural tools, entrepreneurship, small livestock and ornamental birds as well as fairs of: organic agriculture, decorative flowers and shrubs, agri-food products.
