Life Science Open Space 2015

On 8 October 2015, the sixth edition of the conference entitled “Life Science Open Space” was held in EXPO Hotel in Kraków, which was organized by Klaster Life Science, the member of which is the National Research Institute of Animal Production.

The seminar was earmarked for professionals, fans and users of technology and innovation for health and quality of life. It created an occasion to meet partners for the development of innovative ideas, projects, implementations; partners to solve problems, needs and challenges; people open for cooperation; those interested in the development of innovation and business.

Life Science Open Space concerned the following thematic areas: active and healthy life, medicinal products and devices , modern diagnostics and therapy, new therapeutic technologies and medical assist devices, Innovative Medical Centre, healthy food and nutrition, modern, sustainable agriculture, environment and bioeconomy. The programme of the conference comprised lectures, Open Innovation session, which concerned the presentations on innovative technologies, ideas, projects and other enterprises at various stages of development, Open Challenge session, which presented the presentations on chosen issues, for which solutions are sought, and Demo session, which offered premiere demonstrations of new projects, innovative products and services.

The National Research Institute of Animal Production was represented by the employees of the Department of Research Commercialization and Practice Cooperation, Beata Michalik, M.A. and Eng. Maciej Dymacz, M.Sc. who took part in the meeting.
