Nomination of Grażyna Ptak, Ph.D., Professor of NRIAP to Crystal Brussels Prize 2016

We are honoured to inform you that Grażyna Ptak, Ph.D., Professor of NRIAP, the head of the Department of Animal Reproduction Biotechnology of the National Research Institute of Animal Production found herself in a group of people nominated to the Crystal Brussels Prize 2016 in the category of Individual Award.

Crystal Brussels is an award, which is granted by the National Contact Point of Research Programmes of the European Union for the successes in European Union Framework Programmes to the people appreciated among the scientists and entrepreneurs for their activity in the international arena and their contribution to the development of Polish science and economy.

This year, Crystal Brussels will be awarded already for the seventh time. The Prize Chapter will choose the laureates among Polish participants of the Framework Programme Horizon 2020 – the biggest framework programme in the history of European Union, which is to strengthen scientific excellence and increase economic competitiveness of the member countries.

The prize will be granted in three categories, according to the adopted regulations:

  • science – universities and institutes,
  • business – industry and small & medium enterprises,
  • individual award.

The Chapter of the Crystal Brussels Prize 2016, chaired by Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education will appoint the laureates during the Gala of Crystal Brussels Prize 2016 in Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw on 2 June 2016.
