Exhibition of Native Breeds in Rudawka Rymanowska, 28–29 August 2021

By tradition, the XX Farewell to Holidays in Rudawka Rymanowska, within which the National Research Institute of Animal Production organized the Exhibition of Native Breeds, took place on 28–29 August 2021.

This year’s Exhibition was attended by 13 breeders, who presented 34 animals and 6 flocks of laying hens.

Workshop in carcass cutting and packaging for the catering and processing industries: Efficient cutting, trimming and packaging of goose carcasses for the catering and processing industries.

On 18 August 2021 the National Research Institute of Animal Production organized a workshop in carcass cutting and packaging for the catering and processing industries: Efficient cutting, trimming and packaging of goose carcasses for the catering and processing industries. The workshop was held at the Experimental Station of the National Research Institute of Animal Production in Kołuda Wielka.

The National Research Institute of Animal Production at the National Field Days 2021 in Minikowo

The National Field Days 2021 took place on 19–20 June 2021 in Minikowo. The event was organized jointly by the Kujawsko-Pomorski Agricultural Advisory Centre and the UTP University of Science and Technology in Bydgoszcz.

The main goal of the event, held with the motto “European Green Deal in the Fields”, was to present the achievements of Polish plant breeders, research institutes, schools and entities serving farmers.

Native lamb at the Frymark Fair in Bydgoszcz

On 6 June 2021 the National Research Institute of Animal Production set up a promotional booth at the Frymark Fair in Bydgoszcz. Native lamb and mutton were the leitmotif of the culinary shows and tastings.

On 23 May 2021 the National Research Institute of Animal Production set up a promotional booth, which featured culinary shows, food tastings and promotion of Polish lamb meat. Culinary master Piotr Lenart presented dishes and products made from old type Polish Merino sheep originating from our Experimental Station in Pawłowice: lamb spam with ground elder, oriental hunter’s stew in pancake, lamb preserve on gingerbread, leg of lamb in herbs, and a soup with lamb meatballs, lemon and herbs.
